Leslie Brissett, Frank Dwyer and Evangeline Sarda offer a weekend TRAINING IN GROUP RELATIONS CONSULTING at Boston College on January 31-Febr uary 2, 2020. The program is for people interested in develo ping consulting skills and consulting stance through practice using Group R elations methods. Group Relations methods focus on consulting to conscious and unconscious dynamics as they arise in the moment. Training includes Sma ll and Large Study Groups similar to those found in Group Relations Confere nces, as well as Application, Review and Theory sessions.
Part icipants may join as a consulting trainee or as a non-consulting trainee. C onsulting trainees consult to a Small Study Group or a Large Study Group. When not in the consultant role, they participate in the member role. Part icipation in a prior Group Relations Conference or Training is required. A limited number of seats for non-consulting trainees will be reserved for th ose who are interested in learning more about the Group Relations model of experiential learning but who are not interested in taking a consulting r ole at this time. Non-consulting trainees participate as a member in Small and Large Study Groups facilitated by consulting trainees. Participation in a prior Group Relations event is preferred but not required. Faculty wi ll closely observe the consulting trainees and offer public reviews for th e benefit of all participants after each group session.
