Annysa Polanco is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practitioner currently serving as the Director of DEI at Penguin Random House leading the strategy and implementation of equitable corporate workforce practices across the employee life cycle. Prior to her current role, she worked in higher education and non-profit spaces cultivating partnerships with several companies to support their hiring needs while providing professional development services to over 200 young professionals. A deep believer of experiential learning, Annysa's facilitation and curriculum work ranges from exploratory workshops on power and privilege to concrete skill development sessions. A first-generation Dominican, mom, and travel enthusiast, Annysa holds a Masters in Social Work and Advanced DEI Practitioner Certification.
