Leslie Brissett, Frank Dwyer and Evangeline Sarda offer a weekend TRAINING IN GROUP RELATIONS CONSULTING at Boston College on January 31-February 2, 2020. The program is for people interested in developing consulting skills and consulting stance through practice using Group Relations methods. Group Relations methods focus on consulting to conscious and unconscious dynamics as they arise in the moment. Training includes Small and Large Study Groups similar to those found in Group Relations Conferences, as well as Application, Review and Theory sessions.

Participants may join as a consulting trainee or as a non-consulting trainee. Consulting trainees consult to a Small Study Group or a Large Study Group.  When not in the consultant role, they participate in the member role.  Participation in a prior Group Relations Conference or Training is required. A limited number of seats for non-consulting trainees will be reserved for those  who are interested in learning more about the Group Relations model of  experiential learning but who are not interested in taking a consulting role  at this time. Non-consulting trainees participate as a member in Small and  Large Study Groups facilitated by consulting trainees. Participation in a prior Group  Relations event is preferred but not required. Faculty will closely observe  the consulting trainees and offer public reviews for the benefit of all participants after each group session.

Join us to learn more about taking up the consultant stance, to experience role shifts, to examine the difference between small and large group membership and consultation, to combine theory and practice, and to receive feedback on role.
